Feria Taurina De La Macarena
En Antioquia, la afición por el ganado y los caballos en general, constituye un elemento cultural tradicional de la región. La feria se realiza entre finales del mes de Enero hasta principios del de Marzo. La feria reune a los más importantes exponentes de la tauromaquia a nivel nacional e internacional y es considerada una de las más importantes de América. In Antioquia, the close relationship and respect for cattle, bulls, and horses, brings a traditional cultural element to the region. The fair takes place between the end of January thru the beginning of March. It reunites us with the traditions of bullfighting every year. The Feria Taurina De La Macarena is considered one of most well known of its kind in all of the Americas.

Es una de las mayores ferias latinoamericanas (si no la mayor) de hilados, tejidos, ropa, muebles, maquinaria y textiles para la industria, así como de surtidos varios para el hogar. Feria De Las Flores
Es la feria más importante de Medellín y Antioquia. Se celebra desde finales del mes de julio hasta principios del mes de agosto. Esta feria resalta las tradiciones antioqueñas y las proyecta al resto de Colombia y al mundo. La programación incluye cabalgata, una de las más famosas del mundo y Record Guiness, un vistoso desfile de carros clásicos y antiguos, la exposición de orquídeas en el Jardín Botánico, tablados populares, el evento de "Arrieros, Mulas y Fondas" donde varios representantes de todos los municipios de Antioquia muestran su gastronomía, música, productos y cordialidad. The activities include the Cavalcade, one of the most famous of the world and in the Guiness Book of World Records, a showy parade of classic cars, the exhibition of orchids in the Botanical Garden, tablados popular, the event of "Carriers, Mulas and Fondas" where several representatives of all the municipalities of Antioquia show their gastronomy, music, products and cordiality.
Alumbrados Navideños
Constituye un tradicional evento citadino que con los años, amplia disponibilidad de recursos energéticos y presupuestales y la masiva aceptación por parte tanto de los ciudadanos locales como por los miles de turistas, se ha convertido en una enorme fiesta de la ciudad, llena de luces y de programación cultural. El "Alumbrado" navideño ha hecho famosa a Medellín: más de 14,5 millones de bombillas, 300 km de cables iluminados, 21 parques, 4 km de recorrido de alumbrados en el centro de la ciudad y programación cultural durante todo el mes, hacen de diciembre una de las mejores épocas para visitar a Medellín. It constitutes a traditional event that over the years, amply availability of power, budgetary resources, and the massive acceptance by much of the local citizens as by the thousands of tourists, has become an enormous celebration of the city. A flood of lights and cultural programming, " Alumbrado" Christmas has made Medellín famous: more than 14.5 million light bulbs, 300 km of cables, thru 21 parks, 4 km of route of lighting systems in center of the city and cultural programming throughout the month, makes December one of the best times to visit Medellín.
